Location: Larned, KS
Client: Federal Highway Administration
Scope: Victor Corp and its subcontractors installed a double span steel girder pedestrian bridge with pressure treated timber decking, and wooden rails to replicate the old bridge. The original bridge ran along the Santa Fe Trail and was constructed in the 1800’s. The project also included building a 1/4 mile of asphalt road to a new parking lot containing colored concrete sidewalk and curbs, and colored concrete bridge structures.
